Extended arc evaporator

The arc evaporator is designed for applying uniform coatings to large parts, as well as when high thermal loads on the substrate are unacceptable. The arc discharge generated on the cathode surface cyclically moves from top to bottom and back again, resulting in uniform wear of the target material. The evaporator is mounted on a separate hinged plate, which is secured to the chamber flange with clamps. This allows for easy access for maintenance. The arc evaporator is equipped with an automatic ignition system, ensuring high stability and reliability with a long service life.
