Point arc evaporator
The arc evaporator is designed for vacuum arc evaporation coatings. An arc discharge generated on the target surface forms an emission zone (cathode spot). The high temperature of the cathode spot causes evaporation and ionization of the cathode material, generating high-speed plasma flows. Electromagnetic coils stabilize and focus the arc spot. Evaporated materials include titanium, chromium, zirconium, hafnium, aluminum, copper, and other metals, as well as their alloys. The arc evaporator is equipped with an automatic ignition system, ensuring high stability and reliability with a long service life.
